Reflections Arts Recognition Program - A National, State, & Local
PTA Program

**********************************************************************

The National PTA Reflections Arts Recognition Program provides an opportunity for student creative work, inspired by a designated theme, to be recognized at the local, district, state, and national levels. Students may submit entries in any of these six arts areas:
Dance choreography, Film/video production, Literature, Musical composition, Photography, and Visual arts.

All entries must:

  • Be original works (plagiarized works will be disqualified)
  • Relate to the annual Reflections Arts Recognition Program theme
  • Be the creation of only one student (sorry, no parent or teacher help except in the case of visual or physical disabilities)

Rules, guidelines, and forms are below.
Entries must be submitted by the Carlmont PTSA Reflections deadline. All entrants will receive a Certificate of Participation. Works of distinction will receive an Honorable Mention Award. One entry per category will receive an Award of Excellence. The Award of Excellence winners will go on to compete at the 17th District PTA level. District winners will go on to the California State PTA. State winners are invited to attend and exhibit/perform their works at the State Convention in May each year. State winners will go on to the National PTA.
