Welcome to the CHS Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA)!

The Mission of the Carlmont PTSA: To advocate for our students and families and to bring a closer relationship between the home and school so that parents and teachers may work collaboratively in the education of children and youth.

What Carlmont PTSA does:

Teacher/Staff Mini-Grants; Reflections Art Recognition Program; Graduation Night Celebration; Parent Education Speakers; SAT/ACT Practice Tests; Senior Scholarships; Honorary Service Awards

COMMUNICATIONS: The Bagpiper (bi-monthly e-newsletter); PTSA web pages; 8th Grade Transition Information & Events; Representation at monthly SUHSD Superintendent's PTA Presidents meetings

SUPPORT: Teacher/staff help; School event chaperones; Carlmont Pantry assistance

SERVICES: Student Store management & volunteers; Teacher/Staff Appreciation events, PTSA awards evening, Grad Day concessions; PE clothes; Training for PTSA Board members

  • September 11 (Student Union)
    Agents from the San Mateo County Narcotics Task Force and Sheriff’s Office will give a presentation on current drug trends affecting our communities.  They will focus on how illicit drugs touch the lives of our youth and schools.
  • October 2 (Student Union) - 6pm to 9pm
    Please join us for an evening with the Superintendent in the Student Union on October 2nd for a Community Engagement Event. Dr. Mary Streshly will be on hand to host the evening, facilitating group discussions with students, parents, and staff. She will gather information and input to help determine future Sequoia Union High School District goals. Please contact Principal Ralph Crame at to be added to the guest list.

  • April 9
    Election Meeting
    Carlmont Students will be presenting a book, "Just a Thought, Uncensored Narratives on Teen Mental Health". This is a book edited by the CHC Teen Wellness Committee. It is a book that addresses teen mental health from different perspectives by categorizing actual quotes from teens into 4 perspectives addressed to; friends, parents, educators, and self.
