Carlmont High School will no longer be offering AP exams to homeschool students. Exams will only be offered to Carlmont High School students beginning the 2022-23 school year.

The Advanced Placement® (AP®) program (the program is comprised of a class and an assessment) allows students to challenge themselves with college-level rigor in a high school environment. The AP class (there is a wide variety of AP Subjects) is a rigorous course that tries to approximate college level demands. Each AP Course has a national assessment associated with it. If a student performs at a certain level on the assessment, they may be eligible for college credit. The goal is to connect students to college success through allowing them to take college-level classes while still in high school.

Important Dates
AP Exam Purchasing is CLOSED.
To receive a partial refund, requests must be made in person with Mr. Gillogly (treasurer) by March 15th, 2022, 4pm
No refunds will be given after March 15th, 2022
Fees
All fees and payment dates are set by the College Board.
Please understand that these dates and amounts are fixed by that body. Carlmont High School does not have the ability to alter or grant exceptions to what has been established by the College Board.
- Students may qualify for reduced exam fees. This can be accessed by completing the Alternative Income Form.
- The Alternative Income Form is now live and can be reached at seq.org/incomeform
- The application is online only.
